Abu Dhabi Airports and e& have teamed up to offer every international traveller arriving at Zayed International Airport a free visitor SIM card loaded with 10GB of data for the first 24 hours. The new service is designed to give passengers instant connectivity the moment they land, making it easier to access maps, ride-hailing apps, digital payments, messaging platforms and guides such as the Abu Dhabi Pass.
The initiative is part of Abu Dhabi Airports’ wider push toward a fully digital and more intuitive arrival experience. It also supports the airport’s ongoing efforts to maintain its strong global reputation, having been named the world’s best airport at arrivals for three years in a row.
Elena Sorlini, Managing Director and CEO of Abu Dhabi Airports, said the focus remains on reshaping the passenger journey. She noted that offering fast and reliable connectivity helps ensure every traveller feels welcomed from the moment they step into the terminal.
Masood M. Sharif Mahmood, CEO of e& UAE, said the partnership aims to simplify the arrival process and deliver a smooth, digital-first experience for visitors to the capital.
Zayed International Airport continues to be one of the fastest-growing aviation hubs globally. By the end of September 2025, the new terminal had handled 23.9 million passengers, marking its 18th straight quarter of double-digit growth.
