Dubai, UAE — March 2026 — Cinemacity has unveiled its newest destination at Marina Mall, Abu Dhabi, converging film, theatre, and dining under one roof.

Designed as a cultural and entertainment house rather than a conventional cinema, Cinemacity Starlight invites guests to arrive early and stay longer, immersing themselves in a dynamic environment.

According to a press release, the venue is located within one of the capital’s premier waterfront destinations, boasting nine screens, including the  Starlight Theatre, which seats up to 500 guests.

“With Cinemacity Starlight, we wanted to rethink what a cinema space could be today,” said Karim Atassi, brand director at Cinemacity.

At the core of the experience is an exclusive members’ club, offering a refined lounge atmosphere dedicated to connection and conversation. Members enjoy priority access, reserved seating, concierge-style service, and entry to a dedicated social lounge, making the space ideal for networking, relaxation, or gathering with friends and colleagues whether attending a screening or not.

Dining is central to the venue’s social appeal, the press release added, with a range of culinary concepts designed to complement the entertainment offering.

Guests can savor artisanal Italian dishes at Graffiti Forno e Focacceria, indulge in elevated cinema classics with a premium twist, or experience an upscale licensed restaurant serving contemporary cuisine, fine wines, and craft cocktails.

Select auditoriums also feature in-seat dining, blending restaurant-style hospitality with cinematic entertainment.

Beyond film, Cinemacity Starlight will host year-round cultural programming, including special screenings, live performances, private events, and immersive experiences.

From theatre-inspired presentations and music-driven evenings to community gatherings and creative activations, the venue is envisioned as a vibrant crossroads where entertainment, culture, and hospitality meet.

Atassi added: “It is not only about watching films, but about creating an environment where people come to experience something immersive. Whether it is theatre, dining, music or film, the idea is to offer a space where guests can gather, connect and spend time together in a setting designed around culture, conversation and entertainment.”

The new location marks the sixth branch in Cinemacity’s portfolio, joining five other premium entertainment destinations across the UAE.
