UAE weather: Storms ease as sunny conditions return across the country

After several days of heavy rain, thunderstorms, lightning and hail across the UAE, weather conditions are beginning to stabilise, with clearer skies and rising temperatures expected through the week.

The recent bout of unstable weather, marked by strong winds and dark skies, brought a sharp contrast to the UAE’s typical sunny climate. However, forecasters indicate that conditions will improve steadily, with a return to normal weather patterns already underway.

As of now, the last of the storm system is moving شرق towards Al Ain and Fujairah and is expected to fully clear by evening. A dry and calmer night is forecast, followed by predominantly clear skies across the country.

Temperatures are set to dip slightly in the immediate term, averaging around 24°C, accompanied by mild winds. From the weekend onwards, warmer and more stable conditions will take hold, with only a slight chance of isolated thunderstorms midweek, far less intense than recent activity.
