The Registration Authority of ADGM has activated its Broker Classification Framework, aimed at improving professional standards and recognising high-performing real estate brokers operating within Abu Dhabi’s international financial centre.
The framework assesses brokers through a structured set of criteria, including transaction activity, ongoing professional development and customer feedback. It is designed to strengthen the role of brokers as key participants in ADGM’s growing real estate ecosystem.
As part of the rollout, the Registration Authority will organise dedicated workshops and engagement sessions with brokerage companies. These sessions will provide further guidance, encourage collaboration and identify opportunities to support the continued development of real estate professionals.
Rashed Al Blooshi, CEO of the Registration Authority of ADGM, said the framework represents an important step in the development of ADGM’s real estate market.
He said recognising high-performing brokers and promoting continuous professional development would help build a culture of excellence, transparency and accountability across the sector.
The inclusion of customer feedback in the assessment process is also expected to strengthen accountability and encourage brokers to improve service standards. This is intended to increase confidence among property owners, buyers, sellers and tenants.
ADGM said it would continue working to create a competitive, future-ready and customer-focused property market, supporting Abu Dhabi’s position as a leading global investment destination.
