Beyon, the technology group based in Manama, Bahrain, has entered a strategic alliance with LigaData, a data analytics and cloud firm headquartered in Silicon Valley, California, to set up a hybrid data lakehouse for Beyon.

The initiative aims to fortify Beyon’s data infrastructure, harnessing the advantages of cutting-edge cloud technologies.

Saurabh Gupta, CTO of Beyon, and Bassel Ojjeh, CEO of LigaData, endorsed the agreement at Beyon’s headquarters in Hamala, Bahrain.

Mikkel Vinter, CEO of Beyon, Rashed Mohamed, CTO of Batelco, Khaled Jaouni, COO of LigaData and other senior executives from both entities were also present.

Powered by LigaData, Beyon’s data lakehouse will amalgamate structured and unstructured data across Beyon, enabling a comprehensive overview of the group’s business operations.

LigaData’s hybrid data lakehouse technology combines the flexibility of a data lake with the structure of a data warehouse, facilitating faster development of data and AI applications and bolstering data governance.
