Caviar unveils Forged Dragon and Huang He
Expands Huawei Mate collection
Caviar International, a luxury brand renowned for its exclusive custom smartphones, has introduced two new masterpieces in its Dragon Spring collection, built on the Huawei Mate X6 and Huawei Mate 70 RS.
The collection debuted on December 12, 2024. It honours China’s rich cultural and historical heritage and blends traditional artisanry with modern innovation.
The Forged Dragon, based on the Huawei Mate X6, showcases a chassis crafted from black aviation titanium, coated with a sleek black PVD finish. Inspired by ancient Chinese forging techniques, this design exudes an aura of mystery and strength.
The texture recalls the famed multi-layer sword forging of Longquan (Dragon Spring), which dates back over three millennia. Caviar’s adaptation of this ancient art has led them to dub this model the “Golden Dragon,” a tribute to China’s historical artisanry.
The Huang He, crafted from the Huawei Mate 70 RS, is equally striking. It features a robust titanium body adorned with a gold bas-relief of the Huang He River, also known as the Yellow River.
This river has long symbolised the lifeblood of Chinese civilisation, and Caviar’s design captures this powerful connection with nature and human ingenuity. The exquisite details in the bas-relief elevate the model, offering a stunning piece of art combined with advanced technology.
These new creations are part of Caviar’s Dragon Spring collection, which includes the Huawei Mate XT, the world’s first triple-fold smartphone. The collection celebrates China’s traditions while integrating cutting-edge technology, offering customers a luxury experience. Prices for these custom models start at $11,490.
Caviar’s design philosophy continues to push boundaries. It fuses cultural homage with high-end tech, creating unique devices that are both functional gadgets and exclusive works of art. Caviar is headquartered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
