Chinese Delivery Giant Keeta Debuts in Kuwait with 50% Launch Offer

Kuwait City: Keeta, the international arm of Chinese food delivery leader Meituan, has officially entered the Kuwaiti market, strengthening its presence in the Gulf following earlier launches in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Hong Kong.

From Monday, new customers in Kuwait will benefit from an exclusive 50 per cent discount on their first order, alongside free delivery, as the platform introduces its promise of timely and reliable service in a market renowned for high consumer expectations.

Backed by Meituan’s powerful global network  which processes more than 150 million daily orders for over 770 million users worldwide Keeta combines advanced technology with a keen focus on local dining preferences. The Kuwait app features a broad mix of options, ranging from traditional eateries to household favourites such as Naif Chicken, Over Jar, Dipndip, and Shrimpie, as well as international chains.

“Kuwait blends heritage with innovation, and our focus is on what matters most to customers: reliability and convenience,” said Max Chiu, Keeta’s General Manager in Kuwait. “This launch marks the beginning of a long-term partnership with customers, restaurants, and couriers.”

As part of its rollout strategy, Keeta is prioritising support for small and medium-sized restaurants, offering simplified onboarding, digital solutions, and zero marketing fees. Delivery couriers are also promised financial incentives, guarantees, and training programmes, while local logistics providers will play a central role in ensuring smooth nationwide coverage.

Keeta further emphasised its commitment to Kuwait’s Vision 2035, pledging to raise the bar in food delivery standards by focusing on diversity, trust, and what it calls “delivery done right.”
