Including the Middle East region
Cloudera’s EVOLVE25 global event series brings together technology leaders, data professionals and policymakers to discuss the future of enterprise AI, data management and analytics.
This year’s series, themed ‘Trusted data today for tomorrow’s AI,’ is being held in multiple cities worldwide throughout 2025, with a focus on the practical applications of AI in business and government sectors.
The company, known for its hybrid data platform, is using EVOLVE25 to address emerging issues in AI adoption, including data governance, cloud integration, and responsible AI deployment. In a global context marked by rapid AI development, the events are drawing attention to the strategic role of data in AI training and deployment.

The EVOLVE25 events, in-person and virtual, are designed to showcase real-world case studies, technical discussions, and strategies for scaling AI in complex organisations. Rather than focusing on product promotion, the events are being positioned as forums for sharing practical knowledge and cross-sector collaboration.
Cloudera’s C-suite features prominently at each EVOLVE event, where they highlight the company’s direction and comment on industry trends.
Every EVOLVE event includes a Women Leaders in Technology session. Aligned with the theme ‘Accelerate Action, Accelerate Innovation,’ the session brings together influential leaders from various industries to discuss breakthrough technologies and transformative leadership strategies in today’s AI-driven world.
Middle East scenario
Globally, companies are grappling with how to prepare data pipelines to support increasingly complex AI models. Cloudera has emphasised the importance of trustworthy and well-governed data to fuel these models effectively. This message has found particular relevance in the Middle East, where regulatory compliance and data sovereignty remain high priorities.

Industry analysts note that the Middle East is becoming a testbed for advanced data infrastructure, as governments seek to diversify economies beyond oil. Events like EVOLVE25 offer a platform for regional leaders to assess global trends and adapt them to local contexts.
While Cloudera faces competition from other data and AI platform providers, its hybrid approach may appeal to firms in the Gulf region that seek flexibility and control over their data. As digital transformation accelerates, the capacity to deploy AI at scale is becoming a central concern for CIOs and data teams.
In the UAE and across the Gulf region, Cloudera’s activities align with a growing demand for AI-powered services across the government, finance, and energy sectors. A recent company survey indicates that 98 per cent of UAE enterprises are prioritising investments in AI agents to stay competitive.

The Middle East’s investment in digital transformation has created a receptive environment for Cloudera’s messaging. Local firms are particularly focused on hybrid cloud solutions and the secure management of data across distributed systems. This trend aligns with Cloudera’s emphasis on integrating on-premises and cloud-based data infrastructure.
