DigiTax Partners With Supy to Help Restaurants, Hospitality Groups and Suppliers Implement E-Invoicing in UAE

DigiTax, a UAE Ministry of Finance Accredited Service Provider (ASP), has announced a new partnership with Supy, the AI-powered restaurant inventory management, procurement and business intelligence platform.

The partnership will support Supy’s extensive portfolio of hospitality and F&B groups, which currently spans more than 3,500 businesses. For companies across the UAE, the partnership will include joint workshops to connect operational systems with enhanced financial management that complies with the UAE’s upcoming deadlines on e-invoicing. The goal is to create a seamless bridge between back-of-house restaurant operations and the UAE Federal Tax Authority’s regulatory ecosystem.

Businesses with more than AED 50 million in revenue must appoint an e-invoicing provider by 30 October 2026, with full implementation from 1 January 2027. Businesses with revenue less than AED 50 million will also need to appoint an ASP by 31 March 2027, with go-live by 1 July 2027.

Ahmed Farouk, UAE Country Director at DigiTax added, “Supy is a home-grown success story and trusted across the hospitality sector in the region. We are honoured to partner with them and support easy, convenient ways for hospitality groups, restaurants and their suppliers to integrate e-invoicing into their operations.”

In practice, invoices exchanged between restaurants and their suppliers on Supy will be structured by DigiTax and submitted via API to the UAE’s e-invoicing portal. This keeps the process fully digital and ensures every invoice sent or received meets Ministry of Finance and Federal Tax Authority requirements.

Figures from Mordor Intelligence project that the foodservice industry in the UAE will grow past $27 billion in 2026 and reach more than $61 billion by 2031.

DigiTax and Supy will run their first workshop on 29th October, with further details to be announced – visit supy.io and digitax.tech/ae for more information.

DigiTax operates in the UAE as Namiri Technology Services L.L.C.
