The fourth edition of the Forbes Middle East Sustainability Leaders Summit has officially opened at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi, bringing together regional and international leaders to discuss sustainable development, economic resilience and responsible governance.

Held under the theme “Resilience for a Sustainable Future,” the two-day event takes place under the patronage of the UAE Ministry of Climate Change and Environment.

The summit welcomes policymakers, business executives, investors, entrepreneurs and sustainability experts to exchange ideas and explore practical approaches to addressing environmental, economic and social challenges.

This year’s discussions centre on four major themes: Global Leadership and Strategic Governance; AI, Digital Innovation and Future Economies; Impact, ESG and Sustainability Leadership; and Stewardship.

The stewardship theme highlights the importance of balancing economic development with environmental protection, social progress and effective governance to create long-term value.

The event features ministerial discussions, leadership dialogues, executive exchanges, interactive sessions and international case studies. Participants will examine how emerging technologies, responsible investment and strategic decision-making can support more resilient economies and sustainable business practices.

Through these discussions, the summit aims to encourage collaboration between governments, businesses and other stakeholders while exploring strategies to help institutions and communities adapt to changing global conditions.

The gathering also provides a platform for sharing experiences and identifying opportunities to advance sustainability initiatives that can deliver lasting benefits for future generations.
