Dubai residents will enjoy three days of free public parking across the city during the upcoming UAE National Day long weekend. The Roads and Transport Authority confirmed that public parking will be free on Sunday, November 30, as well as Monday and Tuesday, December 1 and 2.
Normal parking fees will resume on Wednesday, December 3. The exemption does not apply to multi-storey car parks or the Al Khail Gate N-365 facility.
Revised Metro and Tram Timings
Dubai Metro services will follow extended operating hours across the weekend:
- Saturday, November 29: 5 am to 1 am
- Sunday, November 30: 8 am to 1 am
- Monday and Tuesday, December 1–2: 5 am to 1 am
Dubai Tram will also operate on an adjusted schedule:
- Saturday, November 29: 6 am to 1 am
- Sunday, November 30: 9 am to 1 am
- Monday and Tuesday, December 1–2: 6 am to 1 am
Public Buses and Marine Transport
Commuters using buses or marine transport are advised to check the S’hail app for updated schedules during the holiday period.
Customer Happiness Centres
RTA Customer Happiness Centres will remain closed on December 1 and 2. However, Smart Customer Happiness Centres in Umm Ramool, Deira, Al Barsha, Al Twar and at the RTA Headquarters will continue operating around the clock.
Service Provider Centres will also close for the two-day holiday and will reopen on Wednesday, December 3.
