Dubai Police have issued a set of traffic and safety guidelines ahead of the UAE’s 54th Eid Al Etihad, urging the public to celebrate responsibly and help maintain smooth traffic flow across the city.
Brigadier Jumaa Salem bin Suwaidan, Director of the General Department of Traffic at Dubai Police, called on residents to uphold a civil and respectful attitude while on the roads. He said that responsible behaviour reflects the UAE’s image and ensures that everyone can enjoy the national holiday without incidents or disruptions.

- Do not block traffic or perform dangerous driving stunts

- Refrain from unlicensed modifications that cause noise or obstruct the driver’s view
How the public can assist
Residents are encouraged to report unsafe driving or traffic incidents using the Police Eye feature on the Dubai Police app or by calling 901. Authorities said public cooperation plays a major role in preventing accidents and ensuring an orderly holiday period.
Strict action against violations
Brigadier Jumaa stressed that Dubai Police will adopt a zero-tolerance approach toward any behaviours that endanger road users. He reaffirmed the force’s commitment to maintaining Dubai’s reputation for safety and ensuring that Eid Al Etihad remains a joyful and secure celebration for all.
