Dubai Government Workshop organizes its annual gathering to recognize efforts

Dubai Government Workshop (DGW) organized its annual employees gathering on (Wednesday, February 15, 2023) at the Mohammed bin Rashid Library in the presence of Fahad Ahmed Al Raeesi, Executive Director of DGW. The event celebrated the efforts and dedication of the employees, celebrated their achievements, and honored outstanding employees. It further highlighted the achievements and contributions of employees to achieving DGW’s strategic objectives.
During the gathering, Al Raeesi praised the employees’ continuing efforts and contributions to the development of the Workshop’s operations, pointing out that DGW has a culturally diverse work environment that encourages the transfer of knowledge and the adoption of best practices, adding that employees are one of the most pivotal elements that support the Workshop’s day-to-day operations and development. He further noted that the annual meeting enhances communication and strengthens the spirit of teamwork among employees in line with DGW’s belief in the importance of the human element, which is key to achieving its strategic goals.
Al Raeesi said: “We constantly strive to achieve performance excellence and enhance productivity to achieve our vision, mission, values, and strategic goals. On this occasion, I am pleased to pay tribute to the efforts of DGW employees and commend their outstanding achievements. The latest annual gathering witnessed the launch of the 1st edition of the “Internal Excellence Award,” which aims to encourage the adoption of a culture of excellence within DGW. It supports the development of a clear methodology for improvement, as well as the adoption of a solid framework for self-evaluation.
The award included several categories, including “Unsung Soldier”, “Best Administrative and “Best Technical Employee”. Besides, it felicitated outstanding organizational departments in several fields. The annual gathering also featured an array of entertainment activities.
The event also turned out to be an ideal platform to shed light on various aspects of development and motivation in all areas of DGW’s operations through a clear strategy to develop the administrative and technical systems, as well as calling for enhanced cooperation and teamwork and encouraged employees to continue their efforts and develop their work to achieve DGW’s strategic objectives.
