During ‘Dubai AI Week‘
Dubai will host the ‘Machines Can See 2025’ summit on April 23-24, 2025, at the Museum of the Future and Emirates Towers.
The event is poised to be the largest annual professional AI summit in the Middle East in 2025, bringing together global experts to explore artificial intelligence’s role in fostering a safer and more sustainable world.
Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defence of the UAE, the summit aims to highlight AI’s potential to drive positive change across various industries and societies.
The two-day event in the Arabian Gulf emirate will feature 20 curated keynotes from world-renowned speakers, including: Gerard Medioni, Vice President and Distinguished Scientist at Amazon Prime Video & Studios; Rob van der Veer, Founder of the AI Exchange and Chief AI Officer at Software Improvement Group; Dawn Song, Professor of Computer Science at UC Berkeley; and Marc Pollefeys, Professor of Computer Science at ETH Zurich and Director of the Mixed Reality and AI Lab Zurich at Microsoft.
The summit’s agenda includes “Wanted: AI to Retain and Attract Talents to the Country” and “Robots: Are We Ready?” Industry experts will lead hands-on sessions that offer practical insights into emerging AI technologies and an immersive showcase of cutting-edge AI technologies and solutions.
The summit is strategically positioned during ‘Dubai AI Week’, from April 21 to 25, 2025. This week-long series of events underscores the UAE’s commitment to becoming a global leader in AI innovation. Other notable events during this period include the ‘AI Retreat’, ‘Dubai Assembly for Generative AI’, ‘Global Prompt Engineering Championship’, and ‘Dubai AI Festival’.
