Dubai: The wait is almost over for nature and wildlife enthusiasts, as Dubai Safari Park has confirmed it will reopen its doors to visitors on October 14, marking the beginning of its seventh season.
The popular family destination closed for its seasonal break in June after recording an impressive 16 per cent increase in attendance compared to the previous year. During Season Six, the park successfully hosted more than 52,700 safari tours, reflecting its growing appeal among both residents and tourists.
When the gates open again, guests will have the opportunity to explore six themed zones, each designed to replicate the natural environment of animals from around the world. Home to over 3,000 animals, the park combines education, entertainment, and conservation awareness in one immersive experience.
Safari Adventures
Among the highlights are two signature experiences:
- Safari Adventure: A 15-minute drive-through journey where visitors can learn about the Arabian Peninsula’s wildlife and discover iconic species such as the Arabian Oryx and Sand Gazelle, while gaining insight into conservation programmes.
- Safari Tour: A 35-minute guided experience featuring more than 35 species from across the globe, offering fascinating insights into animal behaviour, habitats, and survival.
Close Encounters and Activities
Guests can also look forward to 15 animal encounters, including live feeding demonstrations and interactive sessions with zookeepers. The specially designed habitats ensure that animals are viewed in surroundings that reflect their native ecosystems. To make the journey easier, the park provides a shuttle train service connecting its expansive zones.
With its focus on adventure, family entertainment, and raising environmental awareness, Dubai Safari Park continues to be a cornerstone of Dubai’s eco-tourism offerings. The reopening in October promises another exciting season for families, tourists, and wildlife enthusiasts eager to experience the wonders of the animal kingdom.
