Ford unveils all-new Mustang in the Middle East
Sports car blends bold design with cutting-edge technology
In a celebration of 60 years since its inception, Ford has introduced the highly anticipated seventh-generation Mustang to the Middle East, promising an exhilarating combination of muscular aesthetics, technological innovation, and top-notch performance.
This latest iteration continues the legacy of the world’s best-selling sports car, maintaining its iconic status.
The seventh-generation Mustang showcases a contemporary take on its muscular design, merging modern aesthetics with a heritage-inspired exterior.
Noteworthy features include a low, wide front bow reminiscent of the original Mustang’s width, Tri-Bar LED headlamps, and a sleek roofline.
Models such as the GT 5.0, GT Premium 5.0, and GT Premium 5.0 convertible boast updated front fascias and rear valances. At the same time, the Dark Horse edition stands out with exclusive grilles, an iconic Pony Badge, and a distinctive fascia.
Chris Powell, Icons Brand Manager at Ford Middle East, said: “The new Mustang is more robust and edgier, leaning into Mustang’s classic brawniness and timelessness.”
The Mustang convertible, upholding its legacy, features a one-touch activation for its fabric roof, providing maximum open-air freedom.
Its compact roof design and independent rear suspension contribute to a segment-leading trunk space, accommodating up to two golf bags.
The new Mustang arrives in the Middle East with 11 standard colours and an exclusive 12th colour, Ember Blue, for the Dark Horse edition.
The Dark Horse model further distinguishes itself with Brembo brakes, a 19-inch brake system, and a performance-raised rear wing.
Technologically advanced cockpit
Beneath the muscular exterior lies the most technologically advanced cockpit in any Mustang. The driver-centric cockpit features a fighter jet-inspired design with two customisable curved displays.
A leather-wrapped steering wheel, a 12.4-inch digital instrument cluster, and a 13.2-inch centre-stack touchscreen add to the advanced interior.
The all-new Mustang incorporates advanced driver-assist technologies, including BLIS, Pre-Collision Assist, Rear View Camera, Lane-Keeping System, and Adaptive Cruise Control, ensuring safety is paramount.
Equipped with a fourth-generation 5.0-litre Coyote V8 engine, the new Mustang offers more naturally aspirated horsepower than ever.
Drivers can choose between a 10-speed automatic transmission or a 6-speed MT82-D4 manual transmission, with the Mustang Dark Horse featuring a unique TREMEC 6-speed manual gearbox.
Quicker steering ratios and minimal compliance enhance the car’s cornering dynamics, and various drive modes, including Normal, Sport, Slippery, Track, Drag Strip, and Custom, allow drivers to optimise their driving experience for different surfaces and conditions.
Chris Powell noted: “This is the most athletic, confidence-inspiring Mustang to drive yet. Thanks to driving modes combined with fine-tuned digital engine, suspension and steering controls, we can now give drivers peak performance everywhere, from their favourite roads to their local track.”
The all-new Mustang will be available for test drives at Ford distributors throughout the Middle East region shortly.
