Hellmann Calipar Healthcare Logistics Opens Distribution Centre In Dubai

Targeting The Healthcare Logistics Sector

In a significant development for the healthcare logistics sector, Hellmann Calipar Healthcare Logistics (HCHL) has inaugurated its new distribution centre in Dubai emirate in the United Arab Emirates.

The cutting-edge facility, dedicated to serving the needs of global medical device company Boston Scientific in emerging markets, is a testament to the strategic collaboration between the two entities.

The ceremony, attended by HCHL, Boston Scientific, and local authorities representatives, symbolised the beginning of a new era in healthcare logistics in the Middle East region.

Strategically located in Dubai South, amidst the integrated free zones of DWC and JAFZA, the newly established distribution centre covers 5,400 square metres.

Equipped with a capacity of 1,900 pallets and 5,500 CBM of shelving storage, the facility is poised to meet the growing demands of distributors and warehouses across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

Beyond its expansive infrastructure, the centre will offer localisation services, allowing for the customisation of products to cater to specific market needs.

Expressing enthusiasm for the partnership, Madhav Kurup, Regional CEO (IMEA) of Hellmann Worldwide Logistics, said: “We are delighted and privileged to be selected as the logistics service provider of Boston Scientific.

“Our state-of-the-art infrastructure, globally recognised systems, and 14 years of expertise as a healthcare vertical leader have ensured the implementation of this project. We look forward to contributing to the success of Boston Scientific in the region and anticipate a successful and enduring collaboration based on our shared values.”

Regional Footprint

Anna Mansurova, Managing Director of Hellmann Calipar Healthcare Logistics, echoed Kurup’s sentiments, stressing the new facility’s significant role in expanding the company’s footprint in the Middle East region.

“The new multi-user facility is our third expansion and is a testament to Hellmann Calipar’s commitment to providing advanced healthcare solutions in the region. As a market leader, we are dedicated to delivering high-quality services that meet the evolving needs of our clients.”

HCHL, a strategic joint venture between Hellmann Worldwide Logistics and an affiliate of India-based Parekh Integrated Services, is a market leader in healthcare logistics in the Middle East.

With a focus on quality and compliance, the company operates a state-of-the-art facility that is compliant with GSDP and local (MoH) regulations.

Offering a range of value-added services and leveraging advanced IT systems, HCHL aims to set new standards in healthcare logistics, ensuring product availability, emergency responses, and regulatory compliance across the Middle East, North Africa, South Asia, and beyond.
