Lexar Strengthens MEA Presence Following Successful GITEX Global 2025 Showcase

Following a successful participation at GITEX Global 2025, Lexar has reinforced its leadership in high-performance memory and storage solutions across the Middle East and Africa. The brand’s presence drew wide attention from photographers, gamers and content creators eager to explore the company’s latest professional-grade products.

“This year’s GITEX was a true carnival of technology,” said Fissal Oubida, General Manager of Lexar for the Middle East, Africa and India. “It gave us the opportunity to reconnect with partners and customers from the GCC, CIS and African regions, showcase our newest innovations and sign new business agreements that will further strengthen our regional footprint.”

Expanding Reach Across the Middle East and Africa

Over the past three years, Lexar has achieved 300 percent growth in revenue and expanded its retail footprint to more than 5,000 outlets across the MEA region. Fissal credits this to the company’s collaborative model known as “The Lexar Way”, which combines innovation with strong partner engagement.

“At Lexar, we see ourselves as a cool, young brand that connects with photographers, content creators and bloggers. Our mission is to help these communities safeguard their data, take better pictures and videos and have fun doing what they love.”, he explained.

The company continues to host partner training seminars, roadshows and consumer engagement campaigns across the region, initiatives that have solidified its status as a preferred memory solutions provider.

Powering Content Creators in the AI Era

With the rapid rise of AI-powered tools and high-resolution content creation, storage requirements have increased exponentially. Fissal likened this shift to “having a big pet dragon that you have to tame.”

He noted how Lexar has prioritised ensuring consistent supply and reliability across its entire product range to support creators navigating this new digital landscape. “We make sure our customers always have enough within reach,” he said, underscoring Lexar’s commitment to performance, speed and scalability for modern creative workflows.

Aligning with the UAE’s Innovation Vision

Lexar’s continued investment in the UAE aligns closely with the nation’s ambition to become a global leader in technology and artificial intelligence. “The UAE government has created a fantastic, fertile environment for the tech industry to thrive,” said Fissal.

He revealed that the company is in talks with several government entities to explore a deeper local presence, including potential manufacturing operations. “We already have an office, a licence and a growing team here,” he added. “The next step is to expand that footprint and contribute to the UAE’s innovation ecosystem.”

Looking Ahead

After a landmark year marked by strong performance at GITEX and significant retail growth, Lexar is entering its next phase of expansion in the Middle East and Africa. The company plans to build on its partnerships, introduce new product lines tailored for regional consumers and continue setting benchmarks in digital storage innovation.
