Every weekend, Mimi Kakushi’s brunch brings this era to life with an eclectic menu of time-honoured Japanese flavours reimagined with playful, contemporary twists. For six Saturdays, July 12th and 26th, August 2nd and 23rd as well as September 13th and 27th, this experience reaches new heights as Mimi Kakushi partners with Whispering Angel for an exclusive brunch celebration of rosé, live entertainment and pure indulgence.
The July 12th launch event was a great success, with guests arriving in charming touches of pink, from flowing dresses to subtle pink accessories, bringing the “touch of pink” summer theme to life in style. Whispering Angel Rosé is now included in both the house and champagne packages at no additional cost for these special edition brunches, offering a refined and refreshing addition to the experience. As a unique highlight, select dates will feature live painting on a stunning 3L Jeroboam bottle of Whispering Angel. Guests can also enjoy expertly crafted cocktails by the award-winning bar team behind Mimi Kakushi, ranked #1 in the Middle East and featured on the World’s 50 Best Bars list.
To complement the experience, a live band including a pianist as well as a DJ will set the tone, bringing the spirit of 1920s Osaka to life. As a final touch, guests will leave with special, pink-accented keepsakes to remember the occasion.
Mimi Kakushi reimagines Japanese classics with a playful and modern twist. The weekend brunch menu delivers a selection of signature favourites and best-sellers, designed for sharing. Begin with an array of hot and cold appetisers, including dishes like Black Cod and Prawns Gyoza, Yakiniku Wagyu Beef Kushi and much more, each bite offering a unique take on time-honoured flavours.
For the main course, indulge in standout dishes including but not limited to Miso Black Cod with citrus miso sauce, Grilled Tiger Prawn with yuzu kosho dressing and Beef Tenderloin with chipotle soy glaze, all perfectly paired with decadent sides such as Grilled Potato with ume butter and shiro dashi espuma, Grilled Broccoli with seaweed butter and Grilled Mushrooms with truffle.
End on a sweet note with the Sweet Geisha selection, a tempting assortment of Japanese-inspired desserts that capture Mimi Kakushi’s signature balance of tradition and innovation. For this special occasion, the team presents a pink-hued selection including homemade rosé-infused granita.
