The National Human Rights Institution (NHRI) has conducted field inspections across multiple locations in the UAE to assess the human rights impact of recent Iranian attacks, officials confirmed.
A delegation led by Dr. Salem Al Neyadi, Chairman of the NHRI, visited key sites including healthcare facilities, residential areas, and other vital infrastructure. The visits aimed to evaluate the situation on the ground and ensure that the rights of affected individuals are being protected in line with international human rights standards.
During the inspections, the delegation reviewed ongoing efforts to deliver essential services to those impacted, while also examining measures implemented to maintain public safety and strengthen emergency response systems. Officials emphasised the importance of safeguarding fundamental rights and preserving human dignity during times of crisis.
The NHRI stated that the visits form part of its broader mandate to monitor human rights conditions across the country and ensure that appropriate protections are upheld during emergencies.
