“Mitch took a memorable win in China last season, and he is due a strong result after so much misfortune since his victory in Brazil. The key for us is to get the Jaguar I-TYPE 7 in the right performance window to give Mitch the best opportunity to fight at the front.
“Nick also bagged a podium finish on our last visit to Shanghai, and with Nick now running in the points, we’re aiming for him to maintain that momentum this weekend and beyond.”
Jaguar TCS Racing driver Mitch Evans, #9: “We’ve had some setbacks this season, but I know the team has been working incredibly hard to improve the performance of the Jaguar I-TYPE 7, so I can fight at the front of the field. I have happy memories of last year’s win in China, so it’ll be great to return and hopefully we can deliver another strong result.”
Jaguar TCS Racing driver Nick Cassidy, #37: “With every race we’re learning more about our car, and our focus is to translate that into some big scores for the rest of the season. It was great to be on the podium the last time we raced in Shanghai and the aim is to be back there this weekend.”
