realme 12 Pro+ 5G launches with 3x periscope zoom
New series enters the UAE consumer market
realme, a global consumer technology company headquartered in Shenzhen, China, has introduced the realme 12 Pro Series 5G smartphone range to the UAE market.
This series, comprising the realme 12 Pro+ 5G and realme 12 Pro 5G, sets new standards in the mid-range smartphone market by prioritising premium design and cutting-edge imaging capabilities, all at a competitive price tailored for young consumers’ preferences.
The realme 12 Pro+ 5G is equipped with a periscope telephoto lens, offering an unprecedented 3X optical zoom, 6X in-sensor zoom, and a focal length equivalent to 71mm.
The device boasts the OV64B Omnivision ½-inch sensor with 64MP resolution, ensuring clear, detailed images even in low light or zoomed-in scenarios.
Introducing the omnifocal photography system, a pioneering feature offering five lossless zoom levels, the realme 12 Pro+ 5G stands out as the first realme device with such versatility.
The system’s in-sensor zoom technology ensures pristine image quality, while the device’s SuperOIS technology guarantees exceptional image stabilisation. The series also features a 120X SuperZoom, setting a new benchmark for ultra-long-range zoom capabilities.
Portrait photography
The realme 12 Pro Series 5G extends its impact on smartphone photography with the cinematic bokeh algorithm feature, pushing the boundaries of portrait photography.
The addition of expert camera filters, crafted by Oscar-winning cinematographer Claudio Miranda, enriches the photography experience further.
In collaboration with renowned designer Ollivier Savéo, the realme 12 Pro Series 5G introduces luxury into technology.
The golden fluted bezel, polished sunburst dial, and bracelet enhance the aesthetic appeal, while the premium vegan leather ensures a perfect balance of elegance and durability.
Under the hood, the realme 12 Pro+ 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2, featuring an 8-core 64-bit setup. Its counterpart, the realme 12 Pro, boasts the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 with a similar 8-core architecture.
Both devices provide an immersive viewing experience with a 6.7-inch 120Hz curved vision OLED Display and offer a rapid-charging capability of 67W SUPERVOOC, paired with a 5000mAh battery for uninterrupted daily usage.
The realme 12 Pro Series 5G is now available in the UAE, starting at AED1,099, with colour options including submarine blue and navigator beige.
