realme C53 affordable smartphone enters the UAE market
realme, a leading consumer technology manufacturing brand, has launched its C53 affordable smartphone for the UAE retail market.
With a retail price of AED499 (including 5% VAT), the C53 offers consumers several firsts, including a segment-leading 33W fast charge, 12GB dynamic RAM and 128GB ROM storage – wrapped in a 7.49mm ultra-slim body.
The C53 is part of realme’s C Series of affordable smartphones equipped with a 5000mAh battery.
Due to the enhanced charging 33W capability that deploys high-voltage and low-current technology, the C53 achieves 50% charging capacity in only 31 minutes.
The waterproof C53 offers 12GB of RAM and 128GB of ROM, arguably the most extensive storage in the global affordable smartphone segment.
As the smartphone is equipped with DRE dynamic RAM expansion technology, the C53’s RAM can expand to 6GB to deliver a 12GB-like experience to users.
50MP camera
Additional differentiators of the all-new C53 include a 50MP camera, a 6.74-inch 90Hz high-level full screen with a peak brightness of 450 nits, a mini capsule, and an 8MP selfie camera on the front.
Equipped with NFC functionality, the C53 allows users to create images in a preferred style using various innovative image functions.
realm has rigorously tested the C53, including conducting tests for UV radiation, high humidity, salt spray resistance, drop and pressure, extreme cold and high temperature, flame retardant, and sharp-edge tests.
Durability tests were also applied on the device’s power, volume, charging, and plugging range of 150,000 to 300,000 times.
Headquartered in Shenzhen, China, realme originally began as a sub-brand of Oppo before venturing out independently.
The brand produces affordable smartphones and lifestyle technology devices with premium specs, quality, and trend-setting designs targeted at young consumers worldwide.
realme was the fastest-growing 5G smartphone brand globally in the first quarter of 2021.
The brand operates in over 80 markets globally, including the Middle East, Asia, Europe, and Africa.
