Riyadh To Host International Conference To Examine Leveraging Digital Transformation In Justice Sector

The Saudi Ministry of Justice, from March 5 to 6, 2023, will host the first International Conference on Justice in Riyadh. The goal of this conference is to bring together experts, judges, and important decision-makers from the legal fields of more than 30 countries to discuss how digital technology is changing the field of justice.

In the last ten years, the technology industry in the Kingdom has grown quickly, bringing with it improvements that make life easier for both Saudis and tourists. This conference on the use of digital technology in the justice sector will address how the two fields could come together to make justice more accessible and fair in the Kingdom. The theme of the International Conference on Justice in Riyadh is “Improving Access to Justice by Using Digital Technologies.”

The International Conference on Justice in Riyadh, which will begin on Sunday, will include 4,000 attendees from all around the world. This will also include judicial leaders and legal experts from more than 30 nations. Vadim Fedorov, the Undersecretary of the Justice Ministry of Russia, and Bostjan Skrelc, the VP of the EU Agency for Criminal Justice Cooperation, will be present. Also, Leila Jaffal, the Justice Minister of Tunisia, will attend as a distinguished guest.

The Saudi Minister of Justice, Dr. Walid Al-Samaani, said that their aim is to share information, judicial expertise, and legal enrichment with experts from all over the world. It also seeks to improve international cooperation and keep up with the latest developments in the world’s justice system. He suggests it will also include improving digital tools that make it easy to access justice and put more guarantees into digital judicial applications. All in all, they want to learn from the ideas of other countries, share their own experiences and knowledge, and grow international relationships.

After the first session, which will address the future of justice in a world that is becoming more digital, there will be more sessions that look at different parts of the justice field in recent times. For the “Using AI to Improve Justice” session, they will discuss data analysis’s importance for improving justice. This will also include ways to predict court decisions and the role that data analysis will play in the future of the justice industry. The session will also discuss the potential of digital technology in resolving conflicts and the possibility of improving other ways to solve conflicts.
