It’s Barbie Disco Roll Nights at RollDXB this August
RollDXB, currently Dubai’s only disco roller skating destination, is hosting its first-ever Barbie Disco Roll Nights on August 23, 25, 26, and 27, 2023.
Attendees can accompany the Kens and Barbies in their lives to boogie away in the Barbie-themed ambience of RollDXB, under bright neon lights, sparkling disco balls, and thumping groovy beats.
Show off a Barbie-inspired outfit – think pink, and all things shimmery – for a chance to win prizes as RollDXB’s panel of judges will be on the lookout for the most creative, the most glamorous, and the most vibrant Barbie outfits.
RollDXB will host the Barbie-themed ladies’ night on Saturday, August 26, 2023, from 6-11pm.
You can also ‘Dance The Night Away’ in mixed sessions, Barbie-style with family, friends and work colleagues from Friday, August 25 until Sunday, August 27, from 11am-11pm.
Tickets for Barbie Disco Roll Nights start at AED115 per person.
Groups of two to four people are eligible for a 15% ticket discount, groups of five to seven people receive a 20% discount, and groups of eight people and above receive a 25% discount.
Dubai origin
Located in Dubai Maritime City, Port Rashid precincts, Dubai City, RollDXB was created by a group of UAE-based roller-skating fans.
The one-of-a-kind venue allows roller and skateboard skaters of all levels to learn, practise, and enjoy skating in an indoor air-conditioned environment.
RollDXB allows skate jam, roller fit, roller derby, artistic skating, and street hockey.
Three roller-skating trainers are also available at RollDXB. They hail from Italy, Nigeria, and the UAE.
Each week, the RollDXB Academy also focuses on sets of skills required for roller skating and
skateboarding during speciality classes.
During these classes, skaters can learn and practise new skills with their trainers, while they
also refine the skills they may already possess.
At the end of each week, skaters can join friends for an exhibition, showcasing all they learned.
