The United Arab Emirates activated its National Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management System over the past two days, reinforcing operational readiness to safeguard lives and maintain uninterrupted vital services amid recent developments.
Ali Saeed Al Neyadi, Chairman of the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA), confirmed that the country’s emergency framework was immediately mobilised in response to the situation, with readiness levels elevated in line with international best practices.
He said the swift activation ensured the protection of lives, preservation of national achievements, and seamless continuity of essential services without any negative impact.
Coordinated National Response
According to Al Neyadi, the UAE witnessed a comprehensive and coordinated national response involving multiple entities across the country.
He stressed that the developments were handled with a high degree of professionalism, reflecting the country’s advanced state of preparedness and the strong integration between all responding authorities.
“The response demonstrated complete harmony among concerned entities, with every party performing its designated role in line with approved plans and precise procedures,” he said.
Field Teams Praised for Professionalism
Al Neyadi expressed appreciation for field teams who carried out their duties with dedication and national responsibility.
He noted that their efforts reflected a high level of operational readiness and the effectiveness of coordinated national planning.
“This achievement is the result of cumulative institutional work built on proactive planning, joint national exercises and the continuous development of sustainable capabilities,” he said, adding that such efforts strengthen the UAE’s resilience in addressing a wide range of potential scenarios.

The Chairman explained that the emergency system was activated from the first moment based on continuous and comprehensive risk assessments.
Operational readiness was raised through round-the-clock monitoring and close evaluation of evolving developments. Authorities remain in constant coordination to ensure rapid decision-making aligned with changing circumstances.
He reaffirmed that competent entities are closely tracking the situation and taking all necessary measures to maintain the highest levels of preparedness.

Al Neyadi commended the awareness and cooperation of citizens and residents, highlighting their adherence to official directives and reliance on verified sources of information.
