Bear Grylls Explorers Camp has reopened to visitors following a temporary closure caused by adverse weather conditions that affected Jebel Jais last week.
Authorities had suspended activities across the mountain destination to allow for detailed safety inspections and maintenance work after recent rainfall. The camp confirmed on Wednesday that all precautionary measures and comprehensive assessments have now been completed, clearing the way for guests to return.
According to the camp, specialist teams used the closure period to assess terrain conditions and carry out essential maintenance to ensure the safety of all facilities and activity zones. With this work now finalised, the camp has resumed operations, offering its adventure-led experiences under strict safety and operational standards.
The camp said it is once again welcoming individuals, families, school groups and corporate teams, inviting them back to the mountains to experience nature through structured outdoor challenges designed to be both safe and purposeful.
Located high on the cliffs of Jebel Jais, the camp is the region’s first outdoor survival experience inspired by Bear Grylls. It provides hands-on training in survival skills, outdoor confidence-building and guided adventure activities focused on resilience, courage and personal growth. All experiences are led by trained instructors and delivered in line with established safety protocols.
The reopening follows a phased approach to ensure all facilities and guest experiences meet the highest safety benchmarks. Visitors are advised to stay updated through official channels for the latest operational information.
