UAE Pavilion draws global attention at DSA 2026 in Malaysia

The United Arab Emirates National Pavilion continued to capture strong international interest on the second day of the Defence Services Asia Exhibition and Conference 2026, held at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre. The pavilion has emerged as a key platform for defence collaboration, showcasing the UAE’s growing capabilities in advanced technologies and innovation.

The UAE’s participation, supported by the UAE Ministry of Defence and the Tawazun Council, and organised by ADNEC Group, reflects a broader national strategy to strengthen global partnerships and accelerate defence sector development.

More than 2,200 visitors attended the pavilion on the second day, including senior military officials, global delegations, and executives from leading defence firms. The strong turnout highlights the UAE’s rising profile as a hub for next-generation defence and security solutions.

Among the notable visitors were members of a royal delegation led by Tengku Sarafudin Badlishah and Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra, underscoring the pavilion’s international appeal.

Senior UAE officials also toured the pavilion, including Dr Nasser Humaid Al Nuaimi, Amer Hassan Al Teneiji, and Omar Al Kaabi, reviewing the latest defence technologies and innovations on display.

The pavilion welcomed delegations from multiple countries, including Oman, Türkiye, Thailand, Namibia, South Africa, South Korea, Philippines, Singapore, Italy, Myanmar, Germany, and the United Arab Emirates, reinforcing its role as a global meeting point for defence dialogue and cooperation.

Over 80 high-level meetings were held during the day, focusing on emerging trends in defence manufacturing and advanced technologies such as unmanned systems, robotics, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity. These engagements reflect the UAE’s proactive approach to addressing evolving global security challenges.

Key Emirati defence companies, including EDGE Group, Calidus, Resource Industries, and ASIS Boats, showcased their latest locally developed solutions, drawing strong interest from international stakeholders.

The UAE National Pavilion remains open to visitors at Hall 4, Stand 4100, at MITEC in Kuala Lumpur until April 23, offering insights into the country’s multi-domain defence capabilities and future-focused innovations.
