Morning rush hour traffic is causing slower travel times for commuters heading from Sharjah to Dubai, with congestion building across several key routes, according to real-time Google Maps data.

Heavy congestion in Sharjah and Al Mamzar
Traffic is moving at reduced speeds on the E11 towards Dubai, particularly around Al Mamzar. Sharjah’s Industrial Area 13 is also seeing heavy congestion, with queues forming along main access roads. Motorists are advised to allow extra travel time or consider alternative routes to minimise delays.

Minor accident adds to Al Qusais delays
In Al Qusais Industrial Areas, a minor traffic accident has been reported, further slowing vehicle movement along the corridor. Dubai Police have reminded drivers involved in minor accidents to safely move vehicles to the roadside and use the “On The Go” service at the nearest petrol station to file reports, helping to keep traffic flowing.

Residential areas see slower movement
Traffic is also building in Mehathab Residential, where school zones and major junctions are contributing to longer journey times. Drivers passing through these neighbourhoods should expect delays during peak hours.

E11 corridor sees typical gridlock
The E11 corridor is experiencing its usual morning congestion, especially near Al Qusais and Sahara Centre, where traffic from multiple feeder roads merges. Congestion around the mall increases as commuters and early shoppers converge on nearby retail and service areas.

Safety reminders for motorists
Authorities have urged drivers to maintain speeds above the minimum limit in fast lanes to avoid disrupting traffic flow and reducing the risk of collisions. Parents are also reminded that children under four must always be secured in appropriate child safety seats.

Motorists are advised to plan journeys in advance, rely on live navigation updates, and remain patient on the roads to ensure a safer and smoother commute.
