Light rainfall was recorded in parts of Abu Dhabi and Dubai on Monday as unstable weather conditions moved across the UAE, bringing cloudy skies and cooler temperatures to several areas.

According to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM), the country is expected to experience partly cloudy to cloudy conditions over the coming days, with occasional rainfall and shifting wind patterns across different regions.

Light Rain and Cloudy Skies Across the UAE

For Monday, the NCM said skies would remain partly cloudy to cloudy, with a possibility of rainfall in some western regions, coastal areas, and islands.

Winds are expected to be light to moderate, blowing from the north-east to north-west at speeds of 10 to 25 km/h, occasionally strengthening to around 35 km/h.

Sea conditions are forecast to be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf, while the Oman Sea will remain slight.

Cooler Temperatures and Stronger Winds Expected Tuesday

Similar weather conditions are forecast for Tuesday, with partly cloudy to cloudy skies continuing across the UAE. The NCM indicated that western and northern areas could experience light rainfall during the day.

Temperatures are also expected to drop slightly, while winds could strengthen, reaching speeds of up to 40 km/h in some areas. Sea conditions in the Arabian Gulf may turn rough at times due to stronger winds.

Chance of Rain and Morning Fog Later in the Week

By Wednesday morning, partly cloudy to cloudy conditions are expected to continue, with the possibility of light rain in northern and eastern areas. Temperatures are likely to rise later in the day.

Humidity levels are forecast to increase overnight into Thursday morning, raising the chances of fog or mist forming in some coastal and inland areas.

On Thursday, cloudy conditions may persist across parts of the country, with another chance of rainfall. Winds could freshen to around 40 km/h, while sea conditions may become rough at times in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.

Authorities continue to advise residents to stay updated with official weather forecasts as conditions may change during the week.
