Zeekr unveils industry-leading technology at CES 2025

And a global energy plan

Zeekr has unveiled its cutting-edge technological advancements and new strategic partnerships, reinforcing its position as a key player in the automotive sector. The company will showcase its latest innovations in Las Vegas at CES 2025 (January 7-10). These include an intelligent driving domain controller, an extended collaboration with Qualcomm, and an ambitious global energy plan to enhance the future of autonomous mobility and sustainable driving.

One of the standout highlights at Zeekr’s booth (#5460) in the West Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Centre is the debut of its all-new self-designed intelligent driving domain controller. This first-of-its-kind system, built in collaboration with Nvidia, integrates the powerful Nvidia Drive AGX Thor system-on-a-chip (SoC) running on the safety-certified DriveOS.

This domain controller is set to revolutionise autonomous driving experiences. It will enable the vehicle to handle a range of intelligent driving scenarios, including automated parking capabilities. The controller will be featured in Zeekr’s upcoming model, set for release in 2025. Soon thereafter, mass production is planned.

The collaboration with Nvidia is just one piece of Zeekr’s broader strategy to drive innovation in the autonomous vehicle market. As part of its co-creation strategy, Zeekr works closely with partners and customers to refine and evolve its products, ensuring they remain at the forefront of cutting-edge technology.

Another key announcement came as Zeekr revealed an expanded partnership with Qualcomm Technologies. The collaboration aims to enhance the in-car user experience by offering an immersive infotainment system. By integrating the latest Qualcomm system-on-chip (SoC), Zeekr vehicles will provide brighter, more efficient cockpit technology, delivering an enriched user experience. The partnership underlines Zeekr’s focus on delivering seamless, high-performance, and intuitive technology to its customers on and off the road.

Zeekr RT

At CES 2025, Zeekr also showcases the Zeekr RT, a revolutionary vehicle for autonomous mobility. Already undergoing real-world road tests, the Zeekr RT is set to become the world’s first mass-produced, purpose-built vehicle for autonomous transportation. Zeekr announced that it would begin delivering these vehicles to Waymo for further testing as part of the preparations for a future robotaxi service to transform urban mobility.

Zeekr’s commitment to the future of mobility extends beyond autonomous vehicles. The company has also unveiled its global energy strategy, positioning itself as a leader in the transition to sustainable electric vehicles. Zeekr’s current fleet of vehicles is equipped with an 800V ultra-fast charging e-powertrain, enabling quicker and more efficient charging. With over 800 stations, Zeekr is already the largest operator of ultra-fast charging stations in China.

Zeekr’s expansion plans do not stop there, however. The company is deploying a global fast-charging network to provide electric vehicle users convenient access to charging infrastructure in key international markets. The first phase of this strategy will focus on Thailand, Australia and the GCC region, where Zeekr plans to install thousands of Zeekr-branded charging stations to support its growing customer base.

Zeekr is displaying some flagship vehicles at CES 2025. The Zeekr 001 FR, a high-performance shooting brake, offers the perfect balance of luxury, comfort, and ultra-performance. The Zeekr 009 Grand, a four-seater version of the electric MPV, provides a luxurious and quiet ride, presenting passengers with a safe and comfortable sanctuary. Also on show is the Zeekr MIX, a family-oriented five-seater SUV designed to maximise in-cabin space with a capsule-style exterior and innovative packaging.
