Panasonic Expands Premium Smart Appliances Range With Ice-Making Water Dispenser

Panasonic Marketing Middle East & Africa (PMMAF) today announced the regional debut of its latest smart appliance – water dispenser with ice-making feature.  Consistent with all of the Japanese manufacturer’s electronic appliances, the water dispenser offers superior features and cutting-edge innovations, including Auto Ice Making technology, which allows it to produce 9 pieces of ice cubes every 8 to 10 minutes.  The appliance, which has big ice capacity of 1.5 kg, is engineered with an intelligent sensor for Touchless Dispensing cold water and ice cubes.  On top of these, the ice cube storage tank is equipped with UV LED, keeping the ice cubes clean, and thus eliminating any risks of bacterial contamination.

Takashi Sasaki, Director, Consumer Marketing Division, PMMAF, said: “Panasonic has been making breakthrough appliances for over 100 years and we are delighted to introduce another innovation to the region that carries the highest Japanese quality standard our customers have always appreciated from us.  Keeping in mind the needs of the local market, we were very purposeful in the design and development of this brand-new water dispenser with ice-making technology.”

“This product stands out with its smart features.  For one, its ice-making technology is unmatched – making it possible to produce a total of 12kg of ice cubes per day – ensuring users of a continuous supply of clean ice.  From the inside, out this water dispenser is truly superior – it offers a sleek exterior aesthetic and an energy-efficient, feature-packed inside that delivers touchless dispensing options (ice cubes and cold water).  Its enhanced sanitary features are also unparalleled, making it ideal for homes and commercial spaces alike,” Sasaki added.

The water dispenser’s aseptic ice storage tank is like no other, embodying Panasonic’s focus on health and cleanliness.  The sealed storage along with the UV LED combine to prevent any bacterial contamination.  In addition to its core features, the water dispenser with ice maker is built with a 9-finger stainless-steel evaporator, making it hygienic, durable and reliable.  The stainless-steel material reduces defects caused by long-term corrosion, therefore eliminating heavy metal pollution.

The sealed storage with Overall Polyurethane Foam keeps ice cooling for a longer period of time.  This allows the Panasonic ice-making water dispenser save more energy compared to other common ice-making machine.

Other innovative features of the appliance include the Nigh Light that makes it convenient to fetch and drink water at night, and its High Dispensing Area (measuring more than 10 inches) to accommodate a variety of glasses, cups, and sports bottles.

The Panasonic water dispenser with ice maker is now available across Panasonic outlets in the Middle East and Africa, as well as online at Amazon UAE.
