Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) continues to bring the city’s biggest-ever celebration with another action-packed week of stellar only-in-Dubai experiences, return of festival favourites, ever-popular signature events, and brand-new additions – all designed to be more immersive and awe-inspiring than ever before. Hosted by Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), DSF’s epic 30th anniversary celebrations promise a truly unforgettable and thrilling citywide festivities jam-packed with exhilarating A-list concerts, irresistible shopping deals, incredible raffles, free daily fireworks and twice-daily drone shows, world-class gastronomy, and all-round iconic and out-of-this-world citywide experiences.

Here are the not-to-be-missed events and experiences taking place in the second week of the most extraordinary programme in DSF history.

BRAND NEW THIS WEEK

CanteenX

• Date: 13 – 31 December 2024
• Location: Mushrif Park, Gate 1
• About: CanteenX returns to DSF for the second edition for a culinary adventure like no other, under the theme of Adventure Expedition. Free to enter, the event will transform into a vibrant outdoor market, blending 24 homegrown eateries, captivating entertainment, interactive experiences, and fantastic photo opportunities – from 4pm to midnight on weekdays and extended till 1am on weekends.

Sole DXB 2024

• Date: 13 – 15 December 2024
• Location: Dubai Design District
• About: The region’s coolest lifestyle and street-culture festival, Sole DXB returns from 13 to 15 December for its 12th anniversary with an even more immersive festival experience with the introduction of a second stage, extended hours from 3pm to 2am, and a diverse line-up of artists spanning genres from hip-hop and jazz to R&B and dance music. Visitors can explore an eclectic mix of fashion, art, and food & beverage brands, along with curated talks, sports showcases, and interactive activations that will bring together creators and fans from across the globe.

Sherine Abdel Wahab

• Date: 13 December 2024
• Location: Coca-Cola Arena
• About: Dubai’s music scene will come alive as Egyptian superstar Sherine Abdel Wahab takes the stage for a spectacular live concert. The renowned diva will enchant audiences with a selection of iconic hits spanning her remarkable 20-year career.

Ricky Martin

• Date: 14 December 2024
• Location: Coca-Cola Arena
• About: Latin pop sensation Ricky Martin will light up the stage as part of his globally acclaimed world tour. This highly anticipated performance, brought to Dubai for DSF exclusively, will promise an unforgettable night filled with his chart-topping hits and electrifying energy.

Winter District

• Date: 14 – 22 December 2024
• Location: Dubai Media City Amphitheatre
• About: The Dubai Media City Amphitheatre will transform into a festive Winter District filled with holiday cheer, dazzling lights, and family fun. Visitors can explore a bustling Christmas market, enjoy seasonal treats, and delight in attractions like a snow play area for little ones, creating a magical experience for all.

Dubai Basketball Vs Mornal-Barsko Zlato

• Date: 15 December 2024
• Location: Coca-Cola Arena
• About: Dubai Basketball will face off against international team, Mornal-Barsko Zlat in the ABA League this season, promising thrilling matchups and high-energy action. Tickets will be available for fans to join the excitement and witness these epic games.

China National Symphony Orchestra

• Date: 15 December 2024
• Location: Dubai Opera
• About: Experience an evening of musical brilliance as the China National Symphony Orchestra performs a stunning blend of Far Eastern and Western classics, led by conductor Jing Huan and featuring acclaimed violinist Ning Feng.

Aladdin In Dubai

• Date: 17 – 29 December 2024
• Location: Jumeirah Beach Hotel
• About: The Dubai Panto will return to its home at Jumeirah Beach Hotel Auditorium for its 18th year with a magical new version of Aladdin. This enchanting British pantomime, infused with a Middle Eastern twist, promises a captivating mix of comedy, music, dancing, and dazzling visuals. Perfect for all ages, this holiday adventure is not to be missed.

Festive On The Palm

• Date: Until  7 January 2025
• Location: West Beach, The Club and Nakheel Mall
• About: Discover the Glow Forest, a luminous wonderland from Jones The Grocer at West Beach to The Club, magically lit at night with dazzling gobo lights. At Nakheel Mall, enjoy a Winter Garden featuring a majestic ice festive tree and whimsical displays of bears, rabbits, and deer. From 16 December to 4 January, kids can join the festive fun with interactive workshops and activities daily from 2pm to 8pm.

Sonic Stage Show

• Date: 18 December 2024 – 7 January 2025
• Location: City Center Mirdif
• About: Celebrating the new Sonic movie, the all-new Sonic activation and stage show will debut during the 30th anniversary of DSF. The thrilling 12-minute stage show will see Sonic the Hedgehog on an action-packed adventure, complete with meet-and-greets and an exciting activity zone. Hello Dubai – Your Bill is on us with Emax

Free Daily DSF Fireworks

Every night at 9pm, the skies above Dubai Festival City Mall will come alive with vibrant bursts of colour and light by Al Zarooni Group, while the serene backdrop of Hatta will host awe-inspiring shows every Friday and Saturday at 8pm. 

Dubai Lights

• Date: Until 12 January 2025
• Location: Bluewaters Island, Palm Nakheel Mall, Palm West Beach, Al Seef, Dubai Design District, Al Marmoom, City Walk, and Hatta
• About: Dubai Lights return for the 30th edition brighter than ever through a reimagined vision featuring engaging, interactive exhibits crafted by acclaimed international artists. The artistic display celebrates the five elements – Water, Air, Fire, Energy and Connection.

Twice Daily Drone Shows

• Date: Until 12 January 2025
• Location: Bluewaters Island and The Beach, JBR
• About: Celebrating Dubai’s rich past and history, this edition’s drone shows, presented by Emarat, have returned bigger and more thrilling than ever. On 13 December, a special DSF-inspired pyro drone display will light up the skies, showcasing Dubai’s incredible entertainment through technology. 150 pyro drones with skydive stunt will be showcased at 8pm, followed by another 150 pyro drone show at 10pm.

DSF Nights at Dubai Festival City Mall

• Date: Until 12 January 2025
• Location: Dubai Festival City Mall
• About: DSF Nights at Dubai Festival City Mall, sponsored by talabat, continues to host  free concerts, unforgettable family entertainment, trendy dining, thrilling raffles, and much more throughout DSF. Visitors can catch Arab superstar Diana Haddad on 14 December at 9:30pm by reserving a free spot on the Blue App. Families can witness a live Pluma circus experience, enjoy live shows from Modesh & Dana, Barney, Bluey and more, as well as live concerts from Abri and a ‘Dance Through The Decades’ tribute. Live X Factor Shows

• Date: Every Sunday from 8 December 2024 – 12 January 2025
• Location: Dubai Festival City Mall

• About: Presented by AW Rostamani Nissan, Hatta x DSFis the perfect winter escape combining serene beauty of nature with mesmerising light displays every day, from 12pm to 12am on weekends and 4pm to 10pm on weekdays. Get the opportunity to zipline through breathtaking landscapes, kayak on serene waters, savour live music performances, indulge in delicious cuisines and even experience the thrill of test-driving iconic Nissan models. The dining offerings perfectly complement the picturesque setting, featuring Home Bakery for artisanal pastries crafted with care, GOAT Burger serving its iconic, bold flavours, and Adrina, showcasing a menu brimming with freshness and vibrant tastes, and many more. • Date: Every Saturday and Sunday
• Location: Dubai Police Academy Park
• About: Ripe Market will offer a vibrant bazaar featuring artisan stalls, creative small businesses, and a variety of products from fashion and art to homeware and jewellery. Visitors can enjoy fresh organic and hydroponic produce, along with delicious baked goods, labneh, olives, and tasty treats from food trucks, creating the perfect community shopping and dining experience.

DSF VISA DIB Millionaire

• Location: Citywide
