Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has been awarded the Test Maturity Model Integration (TMMi) certification in recognition of achieving Level 4 in relevant standards and practices. This achievement makes RTA the first entity in the UAE, and the first transport authority worldwide, to secure this distinction.
RTA continues to lead in adopting global best practices, with this achievement reflecting the progress it has made in advancing technology quality assurance. It highlights RTA’s commitment to enhancing the maturity of its processes to provide high-quality services and an outstanding customer experience.
The achievement aligns with RTA’s second strategic goal (Sustainability) and fourth strategic goal (Customer Happiness). As such, it supports RTA’s Strategic Plan 2024–2030 for digital transformation by enhancing digital quality assurance and expanding test automation.
In addition, RTA’s team strives to implement and adopting best global practices to continuously advance digital quality assurance and governance, aiming for the highest maturity level in this discipline.
RTA had previously achieved the Level 3 Test Maturity Model Integration (TMMi) certification in 2023. Internationally recognised as one of the leading accreditations in technology quality assurance testing standards and practices, the certification was awarded following an assessment by Experimentus, a UK-based organisation and a global leader in quality certification, standards, and benchmarking for TMMi.
