In a major stride toward enhancing road safety, Dubai Police has launched the innovative ‘Aman Roads’ Smart Platform during GITEX Global 2025 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. The initiative is part of the Dubai Traffic Safety Strategy 2030, which seeks to reduce accidents and fatalities while reinforcing the emirate’s status as one of the safest cities in the world for both drivers and pedestrians.
The bilingual platform available in Arabic and English serves as an interactive digital hub that brings together education, awareness, and community engagement. Users can access real-life awareness videos, road safety tips, and comprehensive accident statistics, while also being able to report reckless driving directly to Dubai Police.
According to the force, the platform aims to build a shared sense of responsibility among all road users from motorists and pedestrians to students and businesses. It encourages active participation in maintaining safer streets through collaboration and smart data-driven insights.
Aman Roads also leverages advanced analytics to identify high-risk areas and guide preventive action, contributing to the broader goal of reducing traffic incidents in line with Dubai’s 2030 safety objectives.
Dubai Police highlighted that increasing public awareness can help cut road accidents by up to 30 per cent, emphasizing that collective vigilance is key to achieving safer mobility across the city.Residents and organizations can explore the platform and take part in this citywide safety initiative by visiting amanroads.gov.ae.
