Hamdan Foundation Launches Tomorrow’s Skills Summer Forum 2026 to Prepare a Generation Ready to Lead Innovation and Shape the Future

Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Medical and Educational Sciences has launched the Tomorrow’s Skills Summer Forum 2026, running until 23 July at the Foundation’s headquarters. The Forum brings together more than 100 participants across two main tracks, Giftedness and Innovation, offering hands-on programmes designed to develop students’ future skills in advanced technologies, scientific thinking, entrepreneurship and personal growth.

The opening ceremony featured an overview of the Forum and its programmes, an inspirational session, and the interactive workshop “Journey to the Self”, which focused on self-awareness, character-building and confidence as foundations for excellence and innovation.

This year’s Forum covers a wide range of areas, including artificial intelligence, robotics, the Internet of Things, digital fabrication, scientific research, financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and leadership skills. Through practical experiences and project-based activities, participants will be encouraged to develop ideas, build solutions, and gain exposure to tools and technologies that support their readiness for future academic, scientific and innovation opportunities.

Commenting on the launch, H.E. Dr. Khalifa Al Suwaidi, Executive Director of Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Medical and Educational Sciences, said: “The world is witnessing rapid transformations that require new models of education and learning. Knowledge alone is no longer sufficient to prepare future generations. The ability to innovate, think critically, work collaboratively, and use modern technologies to develop solutions to real challenges has become among the most important skills students need to succeed in the future. With this vision in mind, we designed the Tomorrow’s Skills Summer Forum as an integrated learning platform that combines knowledge with application, giving participants hands-on experiences in artificial intelligence, robotics, the Internet of Things, scientific research and entrepreneurship. The Forum supports the development of their capabilities and enables them to turn ideas into projects with added value. It also reflects the Foundation’s mission to invest in people and prepare a generation equipped with the skills, confidence and flexibility needed to contribute to a knowledge economy built on innovation and creativity.”

The Forum’s Giftedness track focuses on self-awareness, scientific inquiry, life skills and financial awareness, while the Innovation track introduces participants to advanced technology programmes in AI, robotics, IoT, digital design and digital fabrication. Selected programmes also support participants in developing innovation projects and preparing for local and international scientific and technology competitions.

The Tomorrow’s Skills Summer Forum forms part of the Foundation’s efforts to nurture gifted students, promote innovation and strengthen lifelong learning, in line with the UAE’s focus on investing in people and building a knowledge-based, innovation-driven future.
