Dubai, UAE — July 2026 — Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development is taking part in the 22nd edition of the Liwa Dates Festival, running from July 14 to 23 in the city of Liwa in the Al Dhafra region, organized by the Abu Dhabi Culture and Tourism Authority.

The Fund’s participation reflects the alignment between the festival’s mission to preserve and promote cultural heritage and Khalifa Fund’s role in helping Emirati enterprises turn that heritage into sustainable economic value.

By supporting entrepreneurs and expanding growth opportunities for their businesses, the initiative aims to foster innovation, safeguard national identity, and reinforce the contribution of homegrown enterprises to economic development.

This year, the Fund is backing the participation of 13 small and medium-sized Emirati companies spanning a wide range of sectors, including artificial intelligence, creative industries, fashion, manufacturing, food and beverage, and retail.

The lineup illustrates the diversity of the UAE’s entrepreneurial ecosystem and the ability of national enterprises to harness innovation in preserving Emirati identity while converting it into value-added products and services.

Companies exhibiting at the Khalifa Fund pavilion include Nuwa Hub, which specializes in artificial intelligence and innovation solutions; NEXBA Healthcare Supplies, which manufactures personal care products using green nanotechnology; KWACHI Fashion, focused on Emirati fashion design; and MZS Heritage Designs, which offers creative designs and products inspired by heritage.

The food and beverage sector is represented by several ventures, including Maison Aliza, offering Emirati cuisine with a modern twist; Saraya Al Dhafra, serving traditional local dishes; Gentle Bite, focused on healthy meals; H Almughairah Bakery, specializing in baked goods and sweets; and AYA Café, offering specialty coffee and beverages inspired by Emirati heritage.

Other participating projects span additional sectors, including MSYAN in retail, Unique Signature in perfumes, ABK Photography in photography services, and Maiza Textile in clothing and textiles.

The Khalifa Fund pavilion at the Liwa Dates Festival 2026 gives visitors the chance to explore products from participating Emirati companies and discover examples of national enterprises that blend heritage with innovation.

The pavilion also provides entrepreneurs with a platform to showcase their products, engage with visitors, and build new relationships and partnerships, helping expand their market reach and opening new avenues for growth and expansion.
