Dubai Taxi Company PJSC (DTC) and its strategic partner Bolt have signed an agreement with Arabia Taxi to add the operator’s fleet to the Bolt ride-hailing platform.
Arabia Taxi, a subsidiary of Economic Group Holdings, will integrate 1,607 taxis into the platform. The move will expand the number of vehicles available to passengers across Dubai while improving fleet utilisation and service reliability.
Partnership Aims to Improve Ride Availability
The integration is expected to increase vehicle availability during periods of high demand and reduce estimated arrival times. Customers will also gain access to a faster and more convenient app-based booking experience.
The agreement supports DTC’s strategy to develop a more connected and technology-enabled transport network serving Dubai’s residents and visitors. It also strengthens Bolt’s position within the emirate’s growing smart mobility sector.
Mansoor Rahma Alfalasi, Group CEO of Dubai Taxi Company, said the network expansion is focused on improving the customer experience.
“By integrating Arabia Taxi’s fleet onto the Bolt platform, we are supporting this foundation. As demand for app-based mobility continues to grow, partnerships such as this reinforce our ability to scale efficiently while supporting Dubai’s vision of becoming one of the world’s smartest and most connected cities,” Alfalasi said.
Arabia Taxi Reaches Wider Customer Base
Rawoof Ali, Executive Director of Arabia Taxi, described the agreement as an important milestone for the company.
He said joining the Bolt platform would allow Arabia Taxi’s drivers and fleet to reach a broader customer base while improving operational efficiency.
“We look forward to working closely with DTC and Bolt to deliver a high-quality, reliable service that meets the expectations of passengers across Dubai,” Ali added.
The partnership forms part of Dubai Taxi Company’s wider effort to expand its network and work more closely with private taxi operators throughout the emirate. It also supports Bolt’s continued expansion within Dubai’s ride-hailing market.
