The UAE Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure has secured two honours at the Gulf Green Mobility Forum Awards 2026 in Oman, highlighting the country’s progress in digital government services and transport sector leadership.

The event brought together senior officials, industry leaders, experts and representatives from transport sectors across Gulf Cooperation Council countries.

The Ministry’s UAE Maritime Bundle received the Digital Innovation Award for its role in integrating digital maritime services, simplifying procedures and improving the overall customer experience.

In a separate recognition, Eng. Hessa Al Malik, Advisor to the Minister of Energy and Infrastructure for Maritime Transport Affairs, won first place in the Leading Woman in Mobility Award. The award recognised her leadership and contributions to the continued development of the transport ecosystem.

The Maritime Bundle was developed in support of the UAE Government’s Zero Bureaucracy Program, with a focus on redesigning the customer journey, reducing procedural complexity, integrating services and making greater use of digital solutions.

Its latest Gulf-level recognition follows earlier success within the UAE, where the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure was recognised under the Best Government Team in the Zero Bureaucracy category for the Maritime Bundle project.

Commenting on the awards, Al Malik said the recognition reflects both the growing contribution of Emirati women and the UAE leadership’s efforts to create an environment that supports women’s participation across key sectors.

She also said the Digital Innovation Award demonstrates the work of the national team behind the Maritime Bundle, particularly its efforts to redesign maritime services and place customer needs at the centre of government service development.

Al Malik added that receiving recognition for both national talent and innovation in government services gives the achievement particular significance for the Ministry.

The two awards further underline the UAE’s focus on modernising transport services, strengthening digital transformation and improving the efficiency of government procedures across the mobility and maritime sectors.
