The UAE National Pavilion is participating in the El Alamein International Airshow 2026, being held at El Alamein International Airport in Egypt’s Matrouh Governorate from September 8 to 10, 2026.

Launched in 2024, the El Alamein International Airshow has emerged as a major regional platform connecting stakeholders from the aerospace, defence and space sectors across the Middle East and Africa.

Supported by leading Egyptian entities, including the Ministry of Defence, Egyptian Air Force, Ministry of Civil Aviation, Egyptian Space Agency and EgyptAir, the three-day event is expected to bring together governments, armed forces, aviation authorities, space agencies and industry representatives.

The exhibition covers around 125,000 square metres and features more than 250 exhibitors from 50 countries.

Supported by the UAE Ministry of Defence and the Tawazun Council for Defence Enablement, the UAE National Pavilion is organised by ADNEC Group, a Modon company, and highlights the country’s growing capabilities across defence, aviation and advanced technologies.

UAE Companies Highlight Advanced Capabilities

Spanning 871 square metres, the UAE Pavilion brings together major Emirati companies operating in defence, aerospace, aviation maintenance and advanced technology.

Participating organisations include EDGE Group, Generation 5 Holding, Abu Dhabi Aviation and its group companies, and Multi Level Group.

EDGE Group is displaying a range of multi-domain defence technologies, including autonomous platforms, unmanned aviation systems, precision weapons and ammunition.

Among the systems being showcased are the SHADOW 25 and SHADOW 50 loitering munitions, HT-100 unmanned helicopter, SKYKNIGHT air defence missile system, DESERT STING precision-guided glide weapons, THUNDER and AL TARIQ precision-guided munitions, as well as 155mm artillery ammunition and MK 80 series aerial munitions.

The display reflects EDGE’s expanding portfolio of technologies designed to respond to evolving defence and operational requirements.

Generation 5 Holding Eyes Regional and Global Expansion

Generation 5 Holding is also participating in the pavilion as it seeks to strengthen its presence across the defence, aerospace and advanced technology industries.

The company is using the airshow to engage with government and military organisations, specialised companies and operators while exploring partnerships in manufacturing, technology integration, development and research.

Its participation also supports plans to expand into additional regional and international markets.

Abu Dhabi Aviation Group Presents Integrated Aviation Expertise

Abu Dhabi Aviation Group is represented through Abu Dhabi Aviation, GAL, AMMROC and Maximus Air, showcasing the group’s capabilities across different areas of the aviation industry.

The participation is aimed at strengthening international partnerships and identifying growth opportunities, particularly across Egypt, the Middle East and Africa.

AMMROC, meanwhile, is presenting a scale model of its Al Ain maintenance, repair and overhaul facility, which covers a one-square-kilometre site.

The facility includes more than 140,000 square metres of floor area, five MRO hangars and over 30 specialist workshops, supporting more than 35 fixed-wing and rotary aircraft types.

AMMROC is also showcasing a model of the C-130 Hercules, reflecting its role as a Lockheed Martin-approved C-130 Hercules Service Centre for the Middle East and North Africa.

The company provides depot-level maintenance, engineering, component support, modifications and upgrades for the aircraft.

Maximus Air Highlights Heavy-Lift Transport Capability

Maximus Air is displaying a model of its Antonov AN-124-100 strategic heavy-lift aircraft, which can transport payloads of up to 120 tonnes.

The aircraft offers approximately 850 cubic metres of cargo capacity and is designed to transport oversized and mission-critical cargo for governments, defence organisations and commercial customers worldwide.

Its capabilities allow the company to support complex logistics operations requiring rapid and flexible transportation solutions.

ADNEC Group Promotes Abu Dhabi’s Defence Events Portfolio

ADNEC Group is using its participation at the El Alamein International Airshow to promote Abu Dhabi as an international hub for the defence, security and aerospace industries.

The group is also highlighting major exhibitions hosted in the UAE, including the International Defence Exhibition (IDEX), Naval Defence and Maritime Security Exhibition (NAVDEX), Unmanned Systems Exhibition and Conference (UMEX), Simulation and Training Exhibition (SimTEX), and the International Exhibition for National Security and Resilience (ISNR).

Visitors can explore the UAE National Pavilion at Stand C70 throughout the airshow from September 8 to 10.

Representatives, specialists and industry experts from participating UAE companies will be available to discuss new technologies, manufacturing capabilities and potential areas of cooperation.

The pavilion is also expected to support knowledge exchange, international partnerships and new commercial opportunities between UAE companies and stakeholders from across the global defence and aerospace sectors.
