AD Ports Group has launched a new integrated logistics service connecting Khalifa Port with Umm Qasr Port, marking another step in strengthening regional trade routes and supply chain connectivity.

The new service introduces a direct weekly shipping route designed to handle increasing volumes of container and Ro-Ro cargo between the two ports. The move is expected to improve trade flows across key markets including Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, the UAE, and the wider GCC, while also boosting links with Türkiye and Europe.

Captain Mohamed Juma Al Shamisi, Managing Director and Group CEO of AD Ports Group, said the company remains focused on expanding its logistics ecosystem to support customers and strengthen regional connectivity in line with the UAE’s long-term trade vision.

He noted that the new route will improve supply chain resilience by offering businesses access to diversified trade corridors and smoother logistics solutions. The initiative is also aimed at enhancing market access, supporting faster movement of goods, and creating fresh opportunities for businesses across the region.

AD Ports Group said it has already established the required logistics infrastructure at both ports to ensure efficient cargo storage, handling, and transportation. These upgraded capabilities are expected to improve operational efficiency and support stronger long-term trade growth across the Middle East.
