Ajman Government Media Office, Ajman DED join forces to boost creative economy

The Ajman Government Media Office and the Ajman Department of Economic Development (Ajman DED) have signed a strategic partnership agreement to support the emirate’s growing creative economy and promote investment in media, technology and artificial intelligence.

Under the agreement, Ajman DED will serve as the Creative Economy Partner for Ajman Media Forum THE SIGNAL 2026, scheduled to take place on November 18 and 19.

The collaboration aims to empower Emirati creative businesses, encourage innovation and strengthen Ajman’s position as an attractive destination for entrepreneurs and investors, supporting the objectives of Ajman Vision 2030.

The agreement was signed by Mohammed Abdullah Al Kaabi, Executive Director of Ajman Government Media Office, and Saif Ahmed Al Suwaidi, Director-General of Ajman DED.

Dedicated platform for Emirati creative businesses

As part of the partnership, Ajman DED will sponsor a dedicated pavilion showcasing Emirati companies operating in media, content creation, artistic production, advanced technologies and AI-powered solutions.

The pavilion will provide local businesses with opportunities to present their projects, demonstrate innovative services and establish connections with investors, entrepreneurs and media organisations.

The initiative is designed to help national companies expand their professional networks, develop strategic partnerships and explore new business opportunities.

Ajman DED will also participate in the Ajman 2030 Pavilion, highlighting the emirate’s economic advantages, investment opportunities and business-friendly government services.

Visitors will receive information about digital platforms for establishing and expanding businesses, alongside regulatory frameworks governing economic and media activities.

Digital transformation and AI-driven services

A key focus of Ajman DED’s participation will be its ongoing efforts to improve government services through digital transformation and emerging technologies.

The department will showcase initiatives introduced under the Zero Government Bureaucracy Programme, which seeks to simplify administrative procedures, reduce documentation requirements and accelerate government transactions.

These measures are intended to improve the experience of investors and business owners while strengthening the efficiency and competitiveness of Ajman’s business environment.

At the forum’s AI Lab platform, Ajman DED will introduce its enhanced business renewal service, developed using Agentic AI technology.

The service is designed to streamline administrative processes, improve customer interactions and deliver faster, more efficient economic services through intelligent digital solutions.

The presentation will demonstrate how AI-based applications can support the department’s transition towards more proactive and innovative government services.

Promoting e-licences and business opportunities

Ajman DED will also organise a specialised workshop focusing on electronic business licences, including recently introduced legislation, eligible economic activities and target business categories.

The session will introduce participants to the Mu’lin Permit service and explain how entrepreneurs and companies can benefit from the department’s expanding digital services.

Through these initiatives, the department aims to increase awareness of available government services, encourage business formation and create new opportunities for investment in emerging economic sectors.

The partnership is also expected to strengthen cooperation between government entities, creative enterprises and technology organisations, contributing to the development of a more diversified local economy.

Ajman Media Forum to spotlight industry innovation

Ajman Media Forum THE SIGNAL 2026 will bring together media professionals, industry leaders, technology specialists and investors to discuss developments shaping the future of media and creative industries.

The two-day event will provide opportunities for knowledge exchange, professional networking and discussions on the growing role of artificial intelligence in content creation and digital media.

It will also explore emerging investment opportunities and business models associated with technological innovation.

Through the partnership, Ajman Government Media Office and Ajman DED aim to support the sustainable growth of Emirati businesses, attract high-value investment and enhance Ajman’s competitiveness as a regional centre for entrepreneurship and creative industries.
