The Ajman Transport Authority has intensified its operational efforts to ensure passenger safety and maintain uninterrupted services as unstable weather conditions continue across the emirate.
The Authority confirmed that public transport and taxi teams are working round the clock to monitor traffic movement and respond to changing road conditions. Drivers have been instructed to avoid waterlogged areas and use alternative routes where necessary, helping passengers reach their destinations safely.
Omar Mohammed Lootah, Director-General of Ajman Transport Authority, said the organisation remains fully committed to maintaining high operational readiness in all circumstances. He noted that teams are executing well-structured plans designed to ensure service continuity while prioritising passenger safety.
He added that the Authority is closely tracking weather developments in coordination with relevant agencies, enabling swift action and the implementation of precautionary measures to maintain smooth traffic flow and public safety.
