Bahrain Defence Force has successfully intercepted and destroyed a total of 665 aerial threats, including 188 ballistic missiles and 477 drones, since the beginning of Iranian attacks targeting the kingdom.
According to a statement reported by Bahrain News Agency, the country’s air defence systems have been operating at high readiness to counter repeated strikes aimed at both civilian zones and private property.
The BDF’s General Command strongly condemned the use of ballistic missiles and drones in populated areas, describing such actions as a clear violation of international humanitarian law and the principles outlined in the United Nations Charter.
Officials warned that these attacks pose a serious threat not only to Bahrain’s internal security but also to broader regional stability, as tensions continue to escalate across the Gulf.
