Dubai, UAE — June 2026 — Dubai Duty Free has once again claimed the title of “Best Duty Free Shopping in the Middle East” at the Business Traveller Middle East Awards 2026, held in Dubai,  marking the 25th consecutive year the retailer has taken home the accolade.
The achievement underscores Dubai Duty Free’s leading position both regionally and globally, and reflects its enduring commitment to delivering world-class shopping experiences to the millions of travellers passing through Dubai International Airport each year.
The recognition comes on the heels of a record-breaking performance in 2025, when Dubai Duty Free posted annual sales of $2.37 billion, placing it fifth among duty free retailers worldwide.
Ramesh Cidambi, Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Duty Free, described the 25th consecutive win as an exceptional milestone that crowns the efforts of the entire team.
He said it serves as a driving force to continue elevating the airport shopping experience through innovation, outstanding customer service, and an extensive product range that caters to the diverse tastes of travellers from around the world.
The Business Traveller Middle East Awards celebrate excellence across the aviation, hospitality, and travel sectors, with winners selected through a reader vote by the magazine’s Middle East audience.
The award was received on behalf of Dubai Duty Free by Sinead Al-Sibai, Senior Vice President of Marketing, and Salem Dahman, Senior Director of Marketing.
