The UAE’s General Authority of Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat has announced that Eid Al-Fitr prayers will be conducted exclusively in mosques nationwide, with no arrangements for open prayer grounds or outdoor spaces this year.
The decision comes as part of precautionary measures aimed at ensuring the safety and wellbeing of citizens and residents. Authorities confirmed that the move is being implemented in coordination with Dubai’s Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department and the Department of Islamic Affairs in Sharjah.
Worshippers have been urged to follow all guidelines and arrive early at mosques to perform Eid prayers smoothly and safely.
