Exeed unveils cutting-edge EV models and AiMoga humanoid robot

At 2025 Shanghai Auto Show

Exeed, the premium brand of the Chinese automotive group Chery, captured the spotlight at the 2025 Shanghai Auto Show with a bold display of innovation and performance.

Under the theme ‘Shift To Tomorrow,’ the young automotive brand introduced its latest lineup of electric vehicles (EVs), including the Exlantix ET, ES, and RX PHEV models. The brand’s showstopper at the mega auto show (April 23-May 2, 2025) was the global debut of the ES Performance Edition, showcasing its aggressive, race-inspired design and unparalleled performance.

Alongside these impressive EVs, Exeed presented its in-house developed AiMoga humanoid robot, offering a glimpse into the future of mobility and technology integration.

ES Performance Edition

The ES Performance Edition represents a new version of Exeed’s much-trumpeted Exlantix ES EV lineup. It combines high-performance engineering with eye-catching design. This model is crafted based on the brand’s ‘Nature’s Power’ philosophy and features advanced aerodynamic improvements that boost its speed and handling.

With its sleek, fastback silhouette, the ES Performance Edition achieves an industry-leading 0-100 km/h acceleration in just 3.7 seconds, positioning it among the top contenders in its class. Sharper handling enhances this lightning-fast acceleration, creating a visually appealing design and an exhilarating driving experience.

A key highlight of the ES Performance Edition’s design is its extensive use of carbon fibre. Lightweight construction was a major focus, with carbon fibre integrated into key components, including the grille, hood, side skirts, rear wing, and rear diffuser. The vehicle’s carbon-fibre hood, complete with a large ventilation outlet, optimises heat management while contributing to the car’s aggressive, performance-focused look.

The two-stage rear wing, adjustable to suit different driving conditions, enhances the car’s downforce, generating 110 kg of additional stability at speeds of up to 210 km/h. This innovative feature significantly improves road adhesion and high-speed stability, ensuring a smoother and safer driving experience.

One of the most captivating aspects of the ES Performance Edition is its unique ‘Pulse Green’ metallic fluorescent paint. This vibrant colour features a high-saturation base that shimmers with multicoloured particles, producing a dynamic visual effect.

Under intense light, the vehicle’s exterior reveals a radiant golden pulse, while in shadow, it transforms into a deep, mysterious dark green. This innovative paintwork creates a ‘breathing’ effect that brings the vehicle to life, turning heads wherever it goes.

UAE market focus

Exeed is concentrating on the UAE as a key market for its latest ICE and EV models. The brand unveiled its latest models at a recent event held at Skydive Dubai. The company has also outlined plans for expansion into high-regulation markets, such as Norway and Denmark. Exeed will launch a series of track tour test drive events to further engage with global audiences, allowing enthusiasts to experience its cutting-edge vehicles in real-world conditions.

AiMoga reveal

While the ES Performance Edition captivated automotive enthusiasts at the 2025 Shanghai Auto Show, Exeed also made waves with its in-house developed AiMoga humanoid robot. For the first time, it showcased its multi-robot collaboration capabilities and demonstrated its expertise in intelligent technology in partnership with fellow brands in the Chery portfolio.

AiMoga marks a major milestone in Exeed’s robotics journey, which began in 2020 with the company’s research and development into humanoid robots.

Exeed began its AiMoga robot development in 2023, along with robotic dog products. AiMoga is now entering the mass production phase, making the company a leader in integrating robotics with the automotive industry.

Qin Chao, CEO of Exeed, stated: “Exeed is not only focused on robotics development but also applies breakthroughs in language interaction and AI technology to our high-end vehicles, creating a ‘human-vehicle-robot’ intelligent mobility ecosystem for an even smarter and more convenient user experience.”

During the 2025 Shanghai Auto Show, several AiMoga robots demonstrated their autonomous capabilities by executing tasks such as welcoming guests, delivering water, and providing directions at the Exeed pavilion. This was made possible by a sophisticated scheduling algorithm that integrates a large model framework for language understanding and task scheduling.

The robots coordinated with one another based on unified instructions, effectively acting as a cohesive unit to complete various tasks. This “multi-robot one-brain” coordination represents a significant technological leap, moving beyond the traditional model of a single robot responding to voice commands.
