In a move reflecting Dubai’s continued focus on citizen welfare, Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, has ordered the exemption of 316 Emirati citizens from housing loan repayments.

The directive comes under the guidance of Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and was announced on the occasion of the Holy Month of Ramadan.

The decision aims to ease financial pressures on the beneficiaries and their families, offering reassurance and stability during the sacred month. It forms part of the leadership’s broader efforts to strengthen social cohesion and enhance the overall quality of life for Emirati families.

The initiative underscores Dubai’s longstanding approach of placing citizens’ wellbeing at the heart of its development strategy. By providing direct support to families in need, the Government of Dubai continues to reinforce its commitment to social stability, inclusive growth and sustainable community development.

The announcement reflects the emirate’s enduring values of solidarity and compassion, particularly during Ramadan, a period marked by generosity and community support.
