Digital offerings ride on AI, metaverse, and big data platforms
The Dubai-based Mohammed Bin Rashid Housing Establishment (MBRHE) is showcasing its digital services at GITEX Global (October 16-20, 2023) at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
MBRHE’s digital offerings deploy AI, metaverse and big data analytics, to enhance user experience and redefine customer interaction.
Talal Al Ali, Acting Assistant Executive Director for the Institutional Support Sector at MBRHE, stated that MBRHE had launched a housing design platform that uses metaverse technology to align with Dubai emirate’s metaverse strategy launched by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Dubai, in 2022.
Al Ali said: “The metaverse platform represents a transformative step in the housing services provided by MBRHE, which has transformed the housing presentation experience by providing an innovative digital interface that enhances efficiency and increases the happiness of beneficiaries.
“It enables them, in cooperation with the smart assistant, to explore housing areas, standardised model designs, and new projects through interactive representations that simulate reality and interact smoothly with it.
He added: “Applying metaverse technology contributes to tangible time and cost savings as it reduces the costs of actual infrastructure, lowers operational costs, enables data analysis, and decreases travel expenses for employees, [UAE] citizens, and visitors alike, thereby reducing carbon emissions associated with transportation, in line with the best environmentally friendly global practices.”
Al Ali also touched on some of the other smart services developed by MBRHE, including a visual call appointment booking service, which saves MBRHE clients’ time by eliminating the need for them having to visit the MBRHE premises in person.
GITEX Global 2023 is the 43rd edition of the tech show, with Expand North Star being a co-located event.
