Trendy GS3 Emzoom R Style SUV rolls into the UAE
China’s GAC Motor (Guangzhou Automobile Group Motor) in partnership with Gargash Motors has launched the all-new 2024 GS3 Emzoom R Style mid-size SUV for the UAE market.
The launch event of the eye-catching and uniquely designed R Style model, the top-of-the-line variant of the GS3 Emzoom, was held at Gargash Motors’ GAC Motor showroom in Deira, Dubai, on August 15, 2023.
Gargash Motors is the sole distributor of GAC Motor in the UAE.
Billed by GAC Motor as being a “cool smart SUV” the Emzoom R Style retails for AED89,900 (including 5% VAT) in the UAE, and will be available for purchase in GS, GB and CL trims, from August-end onwards.
Sporty look
The front grille features a unique front bumper design.
A centre-mounted dual-pipe exhaust and unique exhaust sound, combined with central grille decoration and R Style lettering complete the SUV’s trendy appeal.
The beaming eye LED headlights deliver maximum brightness for night driving, while the elegant daytime running lights comprise 18 LED bulbs.
With a diamond-style look, the glowing-dart LED taillights comprise 66 embedded LED bulbs.
Apart from its openable super-size panoramic sunroof, a key feature, or rather a keyless feature, of the new SUV is its electric hidden door handles that activate with a smart fob and emerge from their recessed compartments when a driver desires to enter the vehicle.
Dual screen
The dashboard comprises a unique dual-screen design incorporating a high-performance central console screen with an 8-core chipset 10.25-inch multi-functional touchscreen.
Engineered on GAC Motors’ all-new GPMA platform, the car body has a length of 4,410mm, with its width reaching 1,850mm, a height of 1,600mm and a wheelbase of 2,650mm.
These dimensions make for an extremely spacious interior and trunk.
The smart cabin offers 15W wireless phone charging (optional), phone connection (CarPlay + Android phone screen mirroring) and a Level 2 advanced driving assistance system which includes Adaptive Cruise Control, Integrated Cruise Assist, Automatic Emergency Braking, Forward Collision Warning, Traffic Sign Recognition System, Traffic Jam Assist, High Beam Assist, Lane Keep Assist, Lane Departure Warning, and Intelligent Speed Limit Control.
The surround-view camera system provides a complete 360° view of the entire vehicle.
The 174-horsepower 1.5-turbo engine propels from 0-100kmph in 7.5 seconds, whilst delivering approximately 18km to the litre.
The R Style is available in five trendy exterior colours: Lagoon Blue, Starry Silver, Moon Grey, Graphene Grey, and Ivory White, and interior colours of Beige Green, Camel, and Blue Black.
